Metal-Tech Partners is seeking a Brake Press Operator to setup and operate brake presses and related fabrication equipment in a fast-paced shop. You will verify piece conformity, read engineering drawings, and position parts using hoists or cranes to meet exact specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with brake presses and fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to measure parts with calipers, protractors and tapes.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate brake presses and other fabrication machinery.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using calipers and tools.
• Move parts into position manually or with hoists or cranes.
• Study drawings and blueprints to determine materials and sequences.
• Lay out and inspect metal stock to meet specifications.
• Remove high spots and bevels with files and grinders.
