Job summary

Production Operator position in Westminster, Maryland, supporting a DoD contractor for press operations and parts assembly. The role requires following detailed instructions, maintaining quality and safety, and producing accurate production documentation.

Two shifts are available with hourly compensation of $20.00 on 1st shift and $21.00 on 2nd shift. Responsibilities include setup, material handling, equipment operation, quality checks, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to interpret and follow assembly instructions, drawings, and procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press machinery per production schedules and instructions.
• Process, prepare, sort, dry, organize, stack, and assemble parts per specs.
• Receive parts from logistics and verify items for production.
• Operate high-temperature and vacuum ovens and other equipment as assigned.
• Troubleshoot equipment and adjust machine functions as needed.
• Perform in-process quality inspections to meet standards.
• Count, sort, and handle delicate components accurately.
• Complete production reports and daily paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Communicate issues promptly to leads, supervisors, or engineers.
• Collaborate with team to minimize assembly issues.
• Follow safety, quality, and operating procedures.
