Sharmaservices is seeking a Press Operator for the day shift. You will operate press equipment, produce parts per blueprints, and ensure quality through inspection and measurement.

This role reports to the Shift Supervisor and requires adherence to safety procedures in a non-exempt, day-shift environment. You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances, maintain production records, and collaborate with maintenance on machine issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred technical/vocational training.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Ability to perform precise measurements with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate press and produce parts according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Use precision measurement devices to monitor tolerances.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Troubleshoot issues with supervisor and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and provide feedback for improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement discussions.
