Job summary

FR Conversions LLC, based in Westminster, MD, is seeking a dependable 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator to produce precision-formed metal components for vehicle assemblies and specialty transportation equipment.

You will set up and operate press brake equipment, read blueprints, verify dimensions with measuring tools, inspect parts, and maintain a safe, organized work area while following all PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and metal fabrication.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components to specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production instructions.
• Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Load, unload, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify quality concerns and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Utilize production documentation and work order systems as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
