Job summary

TC Restaurant Group is seeking a Prep Cook to assist in preparing ingredients and stations for the cooking process, while keeping the kitchen clean and sanitized. The ideal candidate shows up on time, assists other kitchen staff, and follows sanitary protocols.

Experience as pantry/prep/line cook in a high-volume setting is preferred, with the ability to read recipes in English and work nights, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 50 pounds and maintain FIFO stock levels as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pantry, prep, or line cook in a fast paced, high volume, premium casual restaurant preferred
• Experience with fresh products preferred
• Must be able to read recipes and instructions in English
• Must be able to communicate effectively and listen to supervisors and teammates

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to specifications before, during, and after hours of operations.
• Rotates and restocks pantry items using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards in all areas of the kitchen.
• Assist with closing duties and kitchen cleanliness at shift end.
