Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare ingredients and stations for the cooking process and to maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen. You will support the kitchen team, follow sanitary protocols, and adhere to company policies and service standards.

The ideal candidate shows up on time, assists teammates, and works well under a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as pantry, prep, or line cook in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Experience with fresh ingredients preferred.
• Must be able to read and distinguish flavors, temperatures, and textures.
• Must work in environments with heat, cold, loud equipment and fumes.
• Must use cut gloves as a safety requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to specifications before, during, and after hours of operations.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of prep areas and equipment.
• Rotate and restock pantry items and supplies using FIFO.
• Assist other kitchen staff and complete station closing duties.
• Adhere to all safety and health procedures and policies.
