Qualifications

• Experience as pipefitter, structural fitter, millwright, or boilermaker is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is required.
• Experience with fit-up and structural assembly; welding experience required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fitting and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with heavy materials and in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and assembly requirements.
• Lay out, position, and assemble components for proper fit-up and alignment.
• Use fitting tools to align and mate structures and piping components.
• Perform welding assistance as needed and support welding tasks.
• Inspect fit-up and adjust to ensure proper alignment before welding or final assembly.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other fitting, fabrication, and related duties as assigned.
