Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Process Technician to perform manufacturing and system operations tasks, including setup/calibration, maintenance, failure analysis, and in-line adjustments to memory and logic production.

You will work with engineers and manufacturing to develop methods and procedures to control or modify processes while complying with health and safety guidelines. All positions are full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification (or 4 years of equivalent military service).
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Prior experience in continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
• Familiar with TPM concepts.
• Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.
• Ability to work off-hours if necessary.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follow SOPs to keep equipment and processes running.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and follow scripts to anticipate future issues.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: observe current state and identify improvements.
• Teamwork and Communication: collaborate in a team and communicate across the organization.
