Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking a Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, calibration tasks, and quality testing for memory chips and logic. You will collect operating data, perform inline adjustments, and help develop methods to control manufacturing processes.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, health and safety guidelines, and collaboration with engineers. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• Experience with SPC methods preferred.
• Familiarity with TPM concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: ensure equipment and processes run effectively.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and follow scripts to prevent recurrent issues.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: observe current state and find improvements.
• Teamwork and Communication: collaborate across teams and communicate clearly.
