The role requires reading schematics, maintaining high accuracy and safety, and collaborating with a manufacturing team to support production goals and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in soldering techniques (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001) or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and/or automated soldering of electronic components on PCBs following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Inspect solder joints for quality and adherence to specifications using visual aids such as magnifiers or microscopes.
• Identify and troubleshoot soldering defects, rework assemblies as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals.
• Document work performed and report any issues or deviations to the appropriate personnel.
