Job summary

Summit Staffing, Inc. is sourcing an Electronics Rework Technician for an electronics manufacturing and engineering services provider. You will inspect, repair, and rework PCBAs, performing soldering, desoldering, and component replacement according to IPC standards and specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, reading schematics, and experience with microscopes and inspection equipment. High school diploma or GED is required, with 1+ year in electronics assembly or rework preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of electronics assembly, repair, or rework experience preferred.
• Experience with hand soldering, component replacement, and PCB repair.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience using microscopes and electronic inspection equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail andcommitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electronic assemblies and identify defects requiring repair or rework.
• Perform soldering, desoldering, component removal, and replacement.
• Perform PCB trace repair and other board-level modifications.
• Perform rework in accordance with IPC-7711/7721 standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Use microscopes, soldering equipment, hand tools, and inspection equipment.
• Follow ESD procedures and established safety and quality requirements.
• Document repairs and inspection results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
