Job summary

Partners Personnel hires a Rework Technician for a local PCB manufacturer in San Jose. You will perform touch-up and rework on electronic components, using microscopes to meet quality standards before progressing in production.

The role requires experience in electronics assembly and the ability to handle delicate parts, plus familiarity with heat guns and hot plates. This is an in-person, day-shift position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing.
• Ability to use a microscope and handle delicate components.
• Basic knowledge of using hot plates and heat guns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-up and rework tasks on electronic components using microscopes.
• Remove simple LC (low current) connections as needed.
• Operate hot plates and heat guns (experience with these tools is a plus).
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure reworked components meet product standards.
• Participate in on-the-job training and hands-on testing for four hours.
