Responsibilities

• Perform rework in accordance with IPC-7711/7721 standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Use microscopes, soldering equipment, hand tools, and inspection equipment.
• Follow ESD procedures and established safety and quality requirements.
• Document repairs and inspection results.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Summit Staffing is currently sourcing qualified candidates for an Electronics Rework Technician opportunity with one of our valued clients.. Our client is an electronics manufacturing and engineering services provider specializing in printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), electronic manufacturing, testing, inspection, repair, and rework. They support customers from prototype development through production while maintaining high standards for quality and workmanship.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Electronics Rework Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and reworking electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards. This position performs soldering, desoldering, component replacement, PCB repair, and other rework activities while following IPC standards and manufacturing specifications.
