Job summary

AdvancedPCB is seeking a QC Inspector in Maple Grove, MN to inspect and evaluate final PCB products for conformance to customer specs and internal standards. You will read blueprints, measure with precision tools, and perform/ document AS9102 FAI reports.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of quality control experience in manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and standards.
• Strong work ethic with accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reports per industry standards.
• Perform final inspections on finished products against customer requirements and drawings.
• Read and interpret customer drawings and engineering documentation accurately.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges to verify conformance.
• Conduct controlled rework (mask touch-up, material removal, finishing) while maintaining quality.
• Verify and document rework acceptance and traceability.
• Identify and mark non-conforming products to prevent shipment.
• Prepare inspection documentation and AS9102 reports ensuring completeness and traceability.
• Review certifications and quality reports for final product acceptance.
• Maintain department logs and yield data; support continuous improvement.
