Job summary

AdvancedPCB is seeking a Final Inspector to verify finished PCB products meet customer requirements. You will read drawings, measure with calipers, micrometers, and pin gages, and perform final inspections to ensure quality before delivery.

The role involves rework as needed, creating AS9102 First Article Reports, and maintaining accurate documentation. Attention to detail and the ability to work overtime are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of PCB manufacturing experience
• One year knowledge of AS9100
• One year knowledge of IPC-6012/6013
• One year knowledge of IPC-600

Responsibilities

• Read customer drawings
• Perform measurements with calipers, micrometers, and pin gages
• Perform final inspection to ensure compliance to customer requirements
• Perform rework as appropriate (mask touch-up, material removal, burnishing, soldering, final finish brush plating, sanding)
• Verify acceptability of rework after completion
• Identify and mark non-conforming product to prevent delivery
• Prepare standard and AS9102 First Article Reports as needed
• Verify certifications and reports for final acceptance and certification
• Complete deliverables for customers with accurate records
• Maintain department logs and yield data
• Perform preventative maintenance as defined by schedule
• Support other areas as required by production/management
• Ability to work overtime as requested
• Keep work area clean and organized
