Job summary

Tiara Yachts is seeking a Small Part Repair Associate in Holland, MI on a 2nd shift (Sun-Thu, 2:00pm–10:00pm) with a starting pay of $23.00 per hour. You will inspect, repair, and finish small parts and surfaces to restore flawless quality for our yachts.

Responsibilities include sanding, filling, buffing, gelcoat work, and using spray guns. Prior experience in marine or related finishes is helpful; health benefits, tuition reimbursement, and profit-sharing are offered.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high personal standard for quality.
• Experience with finishing tools such as sanders, buffers, or sprayers.
• Ability to recognize and repair surface defects with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with working around chemicals, dust, and paint or gelcoat materials.
• Previous experience in marine, automotive, woodworking, or body shop environments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, surfaces, and assemblies for finish flaws or damage.
• Perform surface repairs using sanding, filling, and buffing techniques.
• Work with gelcoat, putty, paint, and other finishing materials.
• Use tools such as buffers, sanders, and spray guns to correct imperfections.
• Blend repairs into surrounding areas for seamless visual quality.
• Communicate with quality and production teams to prioritize repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety standards.
