Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a Deck Assembly Associate for 1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The role builds the boat exterior per specs in a safe, organized area, using drills, woodworking tools, and shop tools. Ideal candidates are dependable with an eye for quality and able to stand and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Will be working with trainer to assemble boat units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions
• Knowledge of processes used in construction and building trades is desirable
• Must be familiar with and understand units of measure
• Communicates the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader
• Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, using your hands and working with various materials
• Must have basic computer knowledge and basic math skills
• When asked, assists with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance
• Maintain daily labor tracking records
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management
