Job summary

A manufacturing company in Illinois is seeking a Painter/Mechanical Assembler responsible for performing production spray operations and ensuring quality through proper surface preparation and equipment use. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with automotive or industrial painting. This role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and a 9/80 work schedule allowing alternating Fridays off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with automotive or industrial painting is preferred.
• Lawful US person due to ITAR restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation for painting including grit blasting.
• Apply paint or primer using HVLP spray guns and airbrushes.
• Inspect completed work and correct defects.

Skills

Detail-oriented
