Job summary

Sewer Equipment Co. in Dixon, IL is seeking an Industrial Painter to operate paint equipment and ensure high-quality finishes. This full-time role focuses on applying coatings to parts using HVLP guns and a pressure pot.

You will prepare parts, load racks, mix paints, and perform equipment maintenance. The job requires 1-2 years of sprayer painting experience and ability to work on a night shift Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm – 6:30 am.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience painting with sprayer.
• Experience in prepping and applying industrial coatings preferred.
• Must be familiar with spray equipment maintenance, adjustments and clean-up.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts per procedures for coating application.
• Utilize pressure pot with HVLP guns to apply coatings.
• Must maintain all paint shop equipment to keep it in top working condition.
• Load and unload part racks.
• Mix paint and tints.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
