Responsibilities

• Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes to metal products.
• Reads job information and locates correct tools and materials.
• Moves parts into the proper location to prepare the parts for paint.
• Cleans parts with wire brush & solvent.
• Applies masking tape & rubber plugs to areas not to be painted.
• Helps the painter using hooks, eyebolts & the crane to move parts into & out of the paint booth.
• Inspects the parts to ensure they meet our quality specifications.
• Places parts on a rack or skid to dry and moved to the next operation.
• Handles physical disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with company policies
