Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Painter for our HMC division in Illinois. You will prepare parts for painting, wash parts in a wash tank, mask and tape as needed, and prime and apply paint using an air gun in a ventilated booth.

Sandblasting and Bondo work may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. We offer a climate-controlled facility, competitive pay between $19 and $26 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a growing packaging equipment

Qualifications

• 1 year painting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent safety practices and mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments as provided.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and maintain good attendance.
• Must be able to work well in a team and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for painting, wash in wash tank and tape.
• Prime and paint using an air gun system in a ventilated paint booth.
• Perform sandblasting as needed.
• Apply Bondo and sand as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist fabrication and production teams as needed.
