Job summary

PGNA, Inc. seeks a Painter/Assembler for our Franklin, PA assembly plant. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and performing assemblies per engineering drawings and schedules.

The position requires 6–10 years of related experience, solid mechanical skills, and effective communication within a manufacturing team. A strong work ethic and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to follow instructions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work under moderate supervision and meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess surface prep and prep materials for painting.
• Operate equipment to clean, strip, sand, and prepare items for coating.
• Mix and prepare paint to specifications.
• Operate spray or coating equipment as required.
• Clean and maintain paint guns, booth, ventilation, and PPE.
• Maintain inventory of paint and materials; log usage.
• Assemble equipment per engineering drawings and work orders.
• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Position or align components for assembly; rework or replace damaged parts.
• Report progress and problems to team leader; contribute to a positive team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
