Job summary

Heico is seeking an assembler/packer to inspect equipment at shift start, read work orders, and record data. You will inspect pieces for quality, assemble or pack items, and keep the work area clean while following safety policies. The role requires basic math and attention to detail in a manufacturing setting.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety training and continuous contribution to product quality during the production process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment at the start of each shift and audit safety devices and emergency switches.
• Read work orders, follow written/verbal instructions, and record production data.
• 100% inspect work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
• Assemble parts or wrap work pieces in appropriate packing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the department.
• Ensure quality of parts before forwarding to the next operation.
• Participate in health and safety training and follow policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
