Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an assembly/packaging associate to support production lines. You will read and follow standard work and safety rules, verify components, and package products for a wide customer base while maintaining quality standards.

The role supports both individual and team efforts in a factory environment. Responsibilities include day-to-hour tracking, daily 5S activities, and occasional overtime to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow standard work and safety guidelines.
• Daily 5S housekeeping and organized work area.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow all standard work including Safety standards.
• Follow all company policies and General Plant Rules (GPRs).
• Verify parts match part numbers and descriptions in the shop pack and review SPI/VSPI and visuals.
• Ensure finished product meets quality standards before and after packaging.
• Complete day-by-hour tracking.
• Perform daily 5S activities and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Read set-up instructions and run jobs in the assigned area.
• Package, label, and box parts for the customer base.
• Work individually and as part of a team.
• Other duties as assigned.
