Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Assembler in Sedalia, Missouri to perform all tasks involved in assembling our products using manufactured and purchased components. You will follow routings, set-up charts, and perform close-tolerance assembly while inspecting units for quality, including paint coverage and defects.

Qualifications

• Basic reading of manuals, drawings and schematics with precision.
• Understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Experience using common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products to prescribed routings with close tolerances.
• Follow product setup charts and process routings.
• Inspect units for quality, including paint coverage and defects.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety rules.
• Participate in Lean initiatives (5S, TPM) and housekeeping.
• Work overtime as needed.
