Allegion in Illinois is seeking a Pack Operator to support the packing and labeling of finished parts. You will ensure quality through inspections, organize parts, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires ability to read drawings and method sheets, use Kanban workflows, and perform tasks with accuracy. Overtime may be required, and the position emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kanban workflow and build processes.
• Ability to perform quality checks on parts and products.
• Familiarity with reading method sheets and assembly drawings.

Responsabilités

• Remove appropriate parts from conveyor or locate from stock.
• Fill, test, regulate cylinders.
• Package finished parts and prepare them for shipment.
• Perform quality checks on parts and products.
• Perform spot checks to ensure closers and parts are labeled correctly; reassemble or reconfigure products as required.
• Place URL labels on cylinders; remove ferules as needed.
• May perform other duties and extend into other areas as needed.
• Follow safety regulations; keep work areas clean using 5S standards.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
