Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Pack Operator in the Pack department to efficiently remove parts from conveyors, test cylinders, and package finished parts for shipment. The role requires attention to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under the Supervisor and support continuous improvement through accurate labeling and Kanban-friendly workflows. Eligible candidates should be able to lift light weights, stand for long periods and adapt to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
• Able to work independently and use sound judgment.
• Reading method sheets and assembly drawings.
• Identifying components and obtaining correct parts.
• Familiarity with CRT/data-entry and AS/400 basics.
• Understanding safety and 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove appropriate parts from conveyor or locate from stock.
• Fill, test, regulate cylinders.
• Package finished parts and prepare shipment.
• Perform quality checks on parts and products.
• Label and reassemble or reconfigure products as required.
• Follow safety regulations; keep work area clean using 5S.
• Overtime flexibility as needed.
