Job summary

Allegion Canada Inc. is seeking a Pack Operator to work in the packing department and ensure finished parts are accurately prepared for shipment. You will remove parts from conveyors, test cylinders, and perform quality checks while maintaining 5S and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to read drawings and method sheets, use bar code data entry and CRT systems, and collaborate with supervision to meet daily targets. Overtime may be required to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret method sheets, drawings, and production reports.
• Experience using Kanban workflow for manufacturing efficiency.
• Familiarity with bar code data entry and CRT/data-entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Remove parts from conveyor or locate from stock and prepare for packaging.
• Fill, test, regulate cylinders and perform quality checks on parts.
• Apply labels, ensure correct packaging and labeling, and reassemble if needed.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow safety regulations in all tasks.
• Work overtime as needed and operate within defined schedules.
