Job summary

Allegion plc is seeking a Pack Operator in Illinois to remove parts, fill and test cylinders, and prepare products for shipment. You will perform quality checks, label and package parts, and follow 5S safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading drawings and method sheets, and using AS400 data entry tools. Overtime may be required, with a pay range of $18.50 to $25.77 per hour and bonus eligibility. Allegion values safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read method sheets, assembly drawings, production reports and safety rules.
• Ability to identify components and obtain appropriate parts for work stations.
• General knowledge of machinery and hands-on inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove appropriate parts from conveyor or locate them from stock.
• Fill, test, regulate cylinders and ensure quality.
• Package finished parts and prepare them for shipment.
• Perform quality checks on parts and products.
• Spot check to ensure closers and parts are labeled correctly; reassemble as needed.
• Apply URL labels to cylinders and remove ferules as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean work area (5S).
• Overtime flexibility as needed and perform tasks timely and accurately.
