Job summary

Sydor Optics, Inc. is a Rochester-based leader in flat-surfaced precision optics with over 60 years of innovation. The Quality Control Inspector will perform final inspection using visual, dimensional, and specialized optical measurement equipment in our Chili, NY facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years' experience preferred.
• Solid math skills and basic measurement concepts.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process and final inspection of optics using specified instruments.
• Operate ultrasonic cleaning equipment as part of inspection processes.
• Segregate and control discrepant material.
• Generate, approve, and store inspection reports and certificates of compliance.
• Maintain clean work area and follow additional processing duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
