Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and with measuring equipment is desirable.
• Participation in continuous improvement activities (kaizen, quality circles) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and operate optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify and escalate unsafe conditions or quality concerns.
• Support production schedule and line efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and management on process improvements.
• Learn progressively challenging products and apply new skills.
• Document issues with data and facts for problem resolution.
