Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in vocational trade preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or vocational certification preferable.
• Measuring equipment such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), interferometer desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate optical processing equipment and monitor performance.
• Maintain 5S area standards, tools, and equipment.
• Identify unsafe conditions and quality concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Manufacturing Management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively more challenging products.
• Inspect glass surfaces and map defects; record time and attendance.
