Job summary

IDEX is a leading provider of mission-critical components with extensive manufacturing capabilities. A detail-oriented technician will perform high-precision optical metrology, handle and assemble optical components, and support fabrication processes in a cleanroom environment.

You will read procedures, operate grinding/polishing equipment, and collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with cleanroom/ESD-safe environments preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email).
• Experience with microscope inspection techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision optical metrology, including interferometry and optical part characterization.
• Clean, handle, assemble, and package optical components in a cleanroom.
• Read, understand, and follow written manufacturing procedures and records.
• Support documentation and development of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Transact production work orders through ERP system and participate in continuous improvement.
