IDEX is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support our advanced optics manufacturing team in Portage, MI. This role requires hands-on machining experience with a focus on precision and quality, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams.

The position offers a second shift (Monday-Thursday) with a three-day weekend, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and continuous learning within a globally recognized company.

Qualificações

• 2-3 years of hands-on machining operating experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of basic manufacturing tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with ultra-precision diamond turning equipment a plus.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing exceptional quality work.
• A Can-Do attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Operate machining equipment.
• Experience working on a manufacturing floor.
• Perform visual inspection and measurement of optical components.
• May collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure parts meet rigorous standards.
• Document processes, maintain accurate production records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
