Job summary

ASML Holding in Wilton, CT, seeks an operator to fabricate high-precision optical components for semiconductor lithography systems. You will follow procedures, operate CNC milling, grinding and polishing equipment, and use metrology tools to meet tight specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and use of measuring equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and take ownership of optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain area, tooling and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Identify and elevate product or process quality concerns promptly.
• Support area and factory schedule execution.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle progressively challenging products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for safety and quality.
• Inspect and map glass surfaces to identify defects.
• Clean optical surfaces of particles and contaminants.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
• Assist with training new and existing employees.
