Job summary

Belmar Pharmacy in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Non-Sterile Compounding Technician to join our dedicated team. You will assist pharmacists in preparing customized, non-sterile formulations, maintaining accuracy and safety standards throughout the compounding process.

Responsibilities include documenting formulas, adhering to USP 795/800, using pharmacy software, and keeping a clean, compliant work environment. A High School Diploma and familiarity with SOPs are required; PTCB is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification preferred if not a state requirement.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of USP 795 and USP 800.
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacy software.
• Prioritize and prepare formulas and compounding records.
• Compound medications accurately and efficiently.
• File necessary paperwork.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Assist with ongoing and month end inventory.
• Assist initial and continuous training of staff.
• Pull outdated medications for destruction.
• Restock supplies and keep the pharmacy neat and orderly.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
