Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions seeks a NonSterileCompounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Utah. You will accurately measure, mix, and package non-sterile compounds, working with pharmacists to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with compounding equipment, and knowledge of USP 795/800 guidelines. Strong adherence to confidentiality and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB preferred if state requirements allow.
• Experience with compounding and/or laboratory work is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs and guidelines related to the process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of applicable pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Understand USP 795 and USP 800 requirements.
• Proficient with pharmacy software.
• Prepare formulas and compounding records.
• Accurately and efficiently compound medications.
• File required paperwork.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist with ongoing and month-end inventory.
• Assist in staff training initiatives.
• Identify and remove outdated medications for destruction.
• Restock supplies and maintain a neat, orderly workspace.
• Maintain patient confidentiality compliance.
