Job summary

HNB Mortgage in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist to support the mortgage lending process by collecting, reviewing, and verifying loan documentation to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant underwriting. This role coordinates with borrowers, underwriters, realtors, appraisers and other third parties to prepare files for underwriting.

A high school diploma is required and 3+ years mortgage processing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years mortgage processing experience preferred, including disclosures and third‑party coordination.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Index and verify loan documentation; prepare disclosures.
• Order appraisals and credit reports.
• Coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, realtors, appraisers and other third parties.
• Prepare initial Loan Estimates and Regulation Z disclosures.
• Review information for investor and bank standards and assist with underwriting readiness.
