Job summary

The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Specialist to collect, review, and verify loan documentation for mortgage applications. You will coordinate with borrowers, underwriters, realtors, and appraisers to ensure files meet investor and bank standards before underwriting.

Responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, and verifying documents; preparing disclosures; and liaising with multiple parties to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

• Run loans through underwriting software.
• Request and follow up on required forms and verifications.
• Communicate with borrowers, realtors, appraisers, and others involved in the process.
• Identify discrepancies and work with borrowers to resolve issues.
