Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of machining experience.
• Completion of a Machining Certificate program or equivalent is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a bona fide technical program if employed as a high school student.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design schematics to understand machining requirements.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling and equipment for milling operations.
• Adjust machine settings to control cutting speed, feed rates, and tool paths.
• Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure proper functionality and prevent defects.
