Job summary

Accelera in Ohio is seeking a Precision Machine Operator to transform raw materials into high-quality metallic components, using manual machining and interpreting blueprints.

You will ensure parts meet tolerances, set up and operate milling and turning equipment, and collaborate with engineering to optimize processes. This full-time role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience and a commitment to safety and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on precision manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints with ID/OD tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings to determine machining sequences and setups.
• Configure and operate conventional milling, turning, and drilling equipment.
• Calculate and adjust machining parameters to maximize tool life and part quality.
• Perform critical quality inspections using micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot fabrication challenges.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols.
