SSP Fittings Corp. in Twinsburg, OH is seeking an experienced forge press operator to set up and run forging presses, install dies, and ensure quality. Forklift certification is preferred; prior forging experience is highly valued in a fast-paced, continuous-improvement environment.

Qualifications

• Background in forging press setup/operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run forging presses: install dies, back plates, and shims per setup sheet.
• Fine-tune ram settings for quality and consistency.
• Operate forge press, trim press and furnaces; ensure safety.
• Measure to print with micrometers/calipers; record results.
• Move materials with forklift; perform routine PM and Lean/CI tasks.
• Follow 5S and safety procedures; assist Supervisor as needed.
