Job summary

Destaco's Hamilton, Ohio facility is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform metal component assembly using standard work instructions. You will use pneumatic tools, read drawings, and test assemblies for quality. Safety is emphasized and teamwork is essential.

The role requires four years of relevant experience or equivalent, proficiency in English, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; some overtime may be required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension and expression, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work varied schedules and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and tolerate standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using standard work instructions and hand/ power tools.
• Identify faulty parts during assembly and testing to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety standards.
• Meet daily production rates and contribute to 6S and continuous improvement activities.
