Job summary

Fire Manufacturing Innovations in Ohio is seeking a hands-on assembler to ensure parts fit correctly and meet final product specifications. You will work with your hands or machines to achieve high precision and read manuals, drawings, and schematics with accuracy.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will stand most of the day in a fabrication shop, with full-time hours and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires reading manuals, drawings, schematics and following instructions precisely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must follow safety requirements (safety shoes and glasses).

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Assemble and install parts per work orders.
• Perform basic sheet metal tasks: deburring, spot facing, riveting, trim panels.
• Read and interpret tapes measures and fractions.
• Perform minor electrical tasks as needed.
• Organize supplies and work area.
• Pull parts for delivery and packaging according to counts.
• Follow established procedures and instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
