Job summary

OPW in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly - Support worker to perform assembly on metal components using standard work rules, drawings, and instructions. You will use pneumatic and hand tools, test assemblies, and maintain a safe work environment.

Qualif: four years of relevant experience, ability to meet daily production goals, willingness to overtime, and strong English communication; high school diploma preferred. Discretionary bonus and continuous improvement culture offered.

Qualifications

• Four years relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Ability to meet and maintain daily production rates and goals.
• Willingness to work all scheduled/adjusted times and overtime as needed.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English comprehension and expression (verbal and written).
• Able to tolerate standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly on metal components and subassemblies using standard work, drawings and schematics.
• Identify faulty parts during assembly and testing and ensure quality.
• Operate tools (pneumatic and hand tools) and monitor quality per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in 6S and continuous improvement.
