Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a mechanical maintenance technician to support a WV-based production line. You’ll perform scheduled services, diagnose faults, and execute repairs to keep equipment running safely and predictably. You’ll read manuals and schematics, coordinate with operators, and maintain a thorough service history.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, asset optimization, and safe, organized work practices. On-call hours may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a mechanical maintenance technical certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a mechanical maintenance technician or comparable role.
• Solid grasp of mechanical systems and proven troubleshooting methods.
• Comfort reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Sharp problem-solving ability with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and be on-call as business needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service and corrective repairs on plant mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults rapidly to reduce downtime.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to keep assets at peak performance.
• Record maintenance work and repairs with accuracy and completeness.
• Follow all safety procedures and uphold a clean, orderly workspace.
• Support the setup and installation of new machines and related equipment when needed.
