Job summary

Pilgrim's in Moorefield, WV is seeking a capable Maintenance Technician to support our production lines. You will construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, identify parts, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience, the ability to read drawings, and a solid grasp of standard and metric measurements. Some weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematics ability
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends)

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments
• Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery
• Respond to production area requests when mechanical issues are identified
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems and determine potential mechanical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time and resources
