Job summary

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
• Experience using an ERP system for data entry and document review.
• Proficient with GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Strong math skills and ability to interpret specifications.
• Self-motivated, organized, and effective communicator.
• Proficiency with a range of precision inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Use precision measuring instruments to assess dimensional accuracy.
• Inspect components, assemblies, purchased parts, materials, and outside processes to verify conformance to requirements and drawings.
• Perform incoming and final inspections at defined manufacturing checkpoints.
• Inspect in-house parts and perform first-piece, final, and functional inspections.
• Record, document, and sign off inspection results in logs or digital systems.
• Report nonconformances to Area Supervisor, QA Engineer, or QA Manager for disposition.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized Inspection Area per 5S and safety practices.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and contributing to corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic training of inspectors and onboarding of new hires.
