Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Mechanical Inspector in Littleton, MA to ensure precision in the manufacture of mechanical, electromechanical, and RF components. This direct-hire role focuses on in-process and final inspections, GD&T adherence, and thorough documentation.

You will verify dimensions, perform FAI, and maintain AS9102 records while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and mentor newer inspectors.

Qualifications

• Experience performing advanced dimensional inspections in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and AS9102 documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and solid documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision manufactured components and assemblies.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T requirements using precision measuring equipment.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain AS9102 documentation.
• Inspect mechanical, electromechanical, and RF assemblies to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.
• Document nonconformances, maintain traceability records, and support corrective action processes.
• Partner with machining, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Assist with training and mentoring team members on inspection standards and procedures.
