Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our Manufacturing team.

You will assemble UL-891 switchboard frames and support structures from engineering drawings, install hardware, verify alignment, and help maintain production schedules in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools and basic assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble UL-891 switchboard frames, structures, and mechanical components per engineering drawings.
• Install hardware, mounting systems, and support structures.
• Verify assembly accuracy, dimensions, and alignment throughout production.
• Support production schedules and collaborate with other manufacturing staff.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in 5S/lean initiatives.
